Pigeon Poo Palace

I stumbled upon what used to be a stunning old homestead, resplendent with pressed metal ceilings & ornate timber fittings throughout it which is slowly falling apart whilst traveling through the Fleurieu Peninsula, in South Australia while I was out on a weekly photography expedition. Different parts of it are in various states of precarious angles, appearing to be threatening to collapse at the slightest of breezes, with the ornate cornices, ceilings & door frames feeling the effects of gravity as they lean further & further towards the ground.

Located in the middle of a viticulture field, this place had been abandoned for quite a few years & this brief visit was well worth the effort to get there.
